What....it's June ALREADY?!?!?!!
Hey everyone! I know I haven't posted in a while and have actually handed over the reigns to Jenna, so I figured I'll make a guest appearance....on my blog lol.
I just got back from a 5 day trip to the Great Barrier Reef with Laura and her sis, Elizabeth. We spent 3 days and 3 nights on a catamarran soaking up the sun, star gazing (counted 11 shooting stars in one night) and sailing through the reef from island to island. I went scuba diving and snorkeling for the first time and guess what ...... I saw a shark!!!!!! During the first snorkel, Laura and one of the guys on the boat claimed they saw a shark but I didn't believe them ... until I saw one during our first scuba dive. I've always been afraid of them and even though I still am, it's hard not to develop a new respect for them. Other than the shark, we swam with many fish and various sea life. I am sad to report I didn't find Nemo, however, I did find Dorey!
I'm going to skip over the embarressing moments of the trip. I'm sure Laura will have a blast filling you in when I'm not looking.
The entire trip went beyond my expectations, and I would do it again in a heart beat.
Today marks the last week of school. Exams start in 3 weeks. I have 3 to kill and then I'm on my way to Figi with Laura. Because of limited availability (I guess everyone and their mother had the same idea to go to Figi) the only flight out after we arrive is a week later ...... so I guess we're spending a week in Figi?! Awesome! My roomies and other study abroad folks will be there as well, so it should be a pretty good time. After Figi, it's on to San Francisco for 4 days! Def looking forward to that. I'll be back in PA by July 13th. Not sure when I'll be heading to Purdue, but no later than Aug 12 - move in day!
Well folks, due to my amazing procrastination skills, sleep isn't looking an option for the next 3 days. erf :o( I def had this coming. Better get crackin!
