Forget me not

So just the other day I was beginning to realize that I was slowly losing the ability to feel what it was like to be in Australia. I was talking to a friend from there and told her, I'm forgetting....I can't believe I'm forgetting. I was really dissapointed. Then a few days later, at Breakfast Club, I saw this guy wearing an Australian flag. Failing to resist the urge to run up to him like an idiot (really, you can't be at Breakfast Club and not be an idiot for one reason or another so it didn't really phase me), I asked where he was from and sure enough, the accent proved him to be a true Aussie! We talked for a bit and turns out UNSW (the uni I studied at) is where he goes!!!! He didn't believe me at first so I started naming things left and right...I was surprised how everything came rushing back at the drop of a hat...drop of a dime?? -well whatever gets dropped, it came back that quickly- It gets a little crazier. His house is down the street from where I was living!!!!! What a freakin small world...I was flyin' high after talking to him, after all the memories and feelings came flooding over me. I was happy to know they were all still there and maybe I wasn't forgetting, but they were just overshadowed a bit and needed something to bring them back out. (He looks like he was grabbing me, but he wasn't)

I LOVE Australia. My Koala is happier though here.
